Crab Batter

Mix Bisquick with a can of regular Sprite to a fairly thick consistency. Dip seafood, shrimp, crab, whatever and deep fry. Batter crisps up in a minute or two so you have to watch it.

Good luck,
Skip

Grandmom Mosmiller's macaroni salad

Mary Flahaven Mosmiller's infamous macaroni salad

2 cups elbow macaroni
1/2 tbsp oil
3/4 tsp salt

1/2 cup vinegar
1 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
5 medium kosher dill pickles
3/4 cup mayonnaise

Cook macaroni in water with salt and oil until tender. Shock in cold water and drain very well. I usually fold and turn in a colander for a few hours until it is dry. If you don't do this, I feel it does not have as much flavor. After drying, put in bowl and pour vinegar over, turning while doing, until you can taste the vinegar in a piece of macaroni. Add mayonnaise, pickles, salt & pepper. Refrigerate overnight. Serves a bunch of folks, maybe for a party.
