Character creation

I figured we could post our possible character choices as comments to this tread. That way we can get a possible party outlook.

I am currently working over a Battle Sorcerer from Nubiwatepesh.

I have also thought of playing a Druid if many others are leaning toward different sorcerer variants.

I'm looking at an Elven Ranger of course from the Tanglewood forest. I'll be a member of the Elven order of Faralon's Hand.

My animal companion will be something new and different, I'm looking at several possiblities.

If some else would like to be a Ranger, I will then make an Elven Fighter of Faralon's Hand.

I am willing to play any class. So i am holding my final character decision until after everyone weighs in.

I have been thinking about two characters. Either a human rogue from the Theocracy state or a mix ranger/barbarian from Tuireadh.

Do not worry kevin, my ranger abilities would not conflict with yours. I am looking more into the two weapon fighting and the extra skill points so my barbarian isnt your typical dummy! Primarily i want to boost his spot, listen, search, climb, jump, etc. (and the occasional assist on Tracking never hurt either)

Pretty much i am willing to fill in any holes.

There is certainly nothing wrong with either of those ideas. As for the barbarian, you may want to take a look at this pic for inspiration:

I don't know if we want to go with all nude barbarians, but the sword/shield idea is one not often used that fits the area extremely well. You can also achieve your skill desires by adding to intelligence rather than multiclassing, but again, that is entirely optional. Your ideas are great too.

I've already talked with Collin about his ideas, so I won't post further here unless something new pops up on that front.

Ooh, here's an idea... You could go the TWF route *with* a shield. Unique and useful with the right feat chain.

I'm going to try to post a prestige class list today for you all to peruse.

Hey this is Andy(Matus), Amys friend.

I was thinking of playing a cleric or a Champion of Atep from The Theocracy of Atep depending what we needed more. I can pretty much play anything though.

Nice hearing from you Andy. Sorry I couldn't make your login just "Andy", but that's my name and login on the main, non D&D portion of this website and I can't have duplicates. I personally am liking that you're leaning towards those two choices, because we have a lot of interesting branching options that will become available to you as the game progresses. Lots of interesting priest prestige classes and the like that fit the region very well.

I was wondering if you could post the favored weapons for each of the gods.

I've been meaning to do that. Thanks for the reminder.

Favored weapons are up now on the Gods page.

At Initial play I am going to be a Dwarven Barbarian of Halmar, My planned design for the char will evolve from that point.

Sorry for the late post, the good news is I have a planned out char from 1-20 including skills and feats assuming we get that far, but this will speed things along as far as leveling time is concerned.
